UNREPENTANT MISTRESS storm edition

Amaka stops by the curb rather abruptly. From the look on her face, she is clearly upset about something, and I have a feeling we are about to find out what.

She picks up one of her beeping phones, and frowns. "Yes darling, I know love I know. I would see you soon. Obim ndo o. Ok.... thank you." she ends the call and faces us.



"So why would I not be upset? My phones are constantly beeping, do you know how many power banks I have? I have clients whose needs I have to carter to, then there is my "fiance" who tasks my fluency in speaking my mother tongue and to add to all this, Opus..... yes Opus. Now whose brilliant idea was it to have a social media storm? whose? Needless to say, a lot of my faceless friends and followers have been on a #iReadopustjkwrites spree, hence my headache. Gosh.... I need some peace and quiet. It's a Saturday for heaven's sake. Can't a girl take a break? Okay.... Okay..... I am not being a kill joy or bad belle or nothing. I am just stressed out. Opus love don't take this the wrong way. But my phone has been beeping non-stop. Yes I am good at what I do, and if the number of hashtags I have seen this morning mean anything, so are you.  I am on edge, that was Celestine on the phone, and his flight would be landing in soon. What I would have to go through in the name of this weekend visit, I dare not think of. Of course you would get the full gist exclusively here. That is if I survive playing house for two whole days with Celestine. My only prayer is that he be satisfied with staying indoors. That I can manage. Say a word of prayer for me..... I have a bad feeling about this. Okay you can keep the hashtags rolling, the logos and bla bla bla. I have more than enough on my plate this weekend." with that, she starts the car and drives off.

There goes Amaka, unrepentant and as annoying as ever. Are you going to say a prayer for her? I know I'm not.

Then bro I am in total support of not telling us who is writing what again, you have done well to introduce Ivy to us, we now know she is talented and an integral part of this blog. Whenever you bring a new writer on board, introduction will be in order. Otherwise, the comparison is beginning to cause rifts and unnecessary judgement of writing styles and talent, I don't like it.

    Ok Opus. I found this blog last week and I have visited frequently since then tho I have never commented. I enjoy the stories...Kip it up. Now, I have to be blunt, I am a writer too and I know what it takes to churn out stories. It's not an easy task. I liked the previous Unrepentant mistress stories I read and I must say I was a bit taken aback when I read this one tonight, there was a disconnect in the character. Juliet made a comment on that even tho she was harsh about it but you need pple like Juliet to make you a better writer. This blog isn't just fun, it's business so wot you gotta do is take the criticism home and brush it up. Ivy is a very good writer, and I am impressed with this blog so far. Take your blog readers comments as gifts...It goes a long way. Luv u both
